In order to obtain a license in cosmetology or nail technology in the state of Vermont, students must complete the requirements listed below. Please contact the Vermont Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists for more information.

Requirements
Cosmetology: 1500 hours
Esthetics: 600 hours
Nail Technology: 400 hours

Reciprocity
Granted to applicants who hold a license in any state whose requirements the board considers to be substantially equal to those of Vermont.
