Pennsylvania

In order to obtain a license in cosmetology or nail technology in the state of Pennsylvania, students must complete the requirements listed below. Please contact the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology for more information.

Requirements
COSMETOLOGIST: 1250 hours
ESTHETICIAN: 300 hours
NAIL TECHNICIAN: 200 hours
INSTRUCTOR: 500 hours

Reciprocity
With all states except: AL, CA, CT, CO, GA, HI, NJ, NM, RI, UT.
