These techniques are combined with tools to treat specific injuries that challenge many therapists including subscapularis tendinitis, frozen shoulder, tennis and golfer’s elbow, ligament injuries of the neck and low back, patella tendinitis, medial collateral knee sprain, and lateral ankle sprain. |

The Benjamin System of Muscular Therapy was developed by Ben Benjamin, Ph.D. / Sports Medicine in the 1960’s. This bodywork system incorporates Swedish massage, deep tissue bodywork, and myofascial and friction therapies. Muscular therapy treats a variety of pain, injury, body perception, and muscle tension problems. Myofascial and friction therapy techniques are used specifically to reduce scar tissue which accumulates as a result of injury to soft tissue structures in the body.
