Kim (Morrell) Henderson formed Alternative Balance over 15 years ago with the calling to serve professionals in the field of health and wellness. As an energy and body worker herself she was guided to provide professionals with the tools and resources to prosper in their own business as well as their clients lives. She began to expand Alternative Balance to produce retreats and natural living expo’s in New England and began her calling of reaching thousands regionally.
Soon an expansion to reach professionals nationally was provided and the Alternative Therapy Association was born. Insurance and business benefits expanded to those in the beauty industry and Alternative Balance dedicated the Salon & Spa Professional Trade Association to those who not only provide health and wellness services but beauty and skin care.
With the continued support of her friends and family as well as thousands of professionals Kim discovers and prepares ways to serve those who serve others and continues to grow Alternative Balance and its associations for better living.
The Alternative Therapy Association (ATA) is part of a online association group formed by Alternative Balance. ATA specifically focuses on those who provide service in the industry of alternative therapy and wellness such as massage therapy, bodyworkers, energy workers, yoga teachers, including animal therapies and more.
ATA mission is to provide a low cost benefits package to professionals and students that includes professional liability insurance and business tools to strengthen and encourage growth in the industry.
